Wolfgang Baiker, a venture partner with Wellington Partners, has been appointed chief executive of Adrenomed AG which is developing a product for septic shock. Dr Baiker is a former CEO of Boehringer Ingelheim USA and before that, held a number of positions at the German company including head of global development and head of global manufacturing.
Dr Baiker obtained a medical degree from Ludwigs-Maximilians-Universität Munich and a PhD from the University of Ulm, both in Germany. He earned a master of business administration from Pace University in New York City, US.
Adrenomed announced the appointment on 4 January 2021.
