Nuclera Ltd has made a leadership transition with the appointment of Carl Raimond as chief executive officer while Dr Michael Chen, Nuclera’s co-founder and former CEO, has moved to the role of chief scientific and business officer. Mr Raimond joins Nuclera from Thermo Fisher Scientific. He was previously president of Olink Proteomics, helping to lead the company through its $3.1 billion acquisition by Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2023.
Nuclera is expanding adoption of its technology platform across priority life-science workflows, to be supported by Mr Raimond’s experience scaling life-science businesses and Dr Chen’s scientific leadership and understanding of Nuclera’s technology and markets.
Nuclera announced the appointments on 22 September 2026.
