GSK Plc has appointed Wendy Becker to join the company’s board as a non-executive director, effective on 1 October. Ms Becker will become a member of the remuneration committee and will succeed Urs Rohner as the committee chair after GSK’s 2024 annual general meeting. She will also join GSK’s audit & risk committee Ms Becker has held senior leadership positions in global businesses including technology and life sciences. Her most recent positions are chair of Logitech International SA and chair of the compensation committee of Sony Group Corp. She is also a board member and chair of the remuneration committee of Oxford Nanopore Technologies plc. Ms Becker holds a BA in Economics from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business, both in the US.
