Vectura Group Plc has appointed Will Downie as its new chief executive as it advances a strategy to become a global player in the inhaled drug delivery services business. Mr Downie joins from Catalent Inc, one of the largest contract development and manufacturing organisations. Prior to Catalent, he held executive positions at GE Healthcare, Amersham Health and Quintiles Innovex UK Ltd. He earned a bachelor of science degree, with honours, in biochemistry from the University of Edinburgh.
Vectura announced the appointment on 29 October 2019.
