UCB SA of Belgium has nominated Bert De Graeve and Alexandre Van Damme to its board of directors. Mr De Graeve is chief executive officer of the Bekaert Group in Belgium and president of the Flanders-China Chamber of Commerce. He is also a senior member of the Conference Board in New York. Mr Van Damme is a member of the board of directors of Anheuser-Busch InBev and also a member of the Solvay Business School Consultative Council. Following approval by shareholders on 29 April 2010, the two executives will join a group of other directors who include Peter Fellner, former chairman and chief executive of the Celltech Group Plc, and Tom McKillop, former chief executive of AstraZeneca.
