4SC AG of Germany has announced that Thomas Werner, formerly deputy chair of its supervisory board, has been elected chair. Dr Werner is a management consultant and the former managing director of GlaxoSmithKline Germany. He has been a member of the 4SC supervisory board since June 2009 and deputy chair since June 2010. At the same time, the board has elected Manfred Rüdiger as its new deputy chair. Dr Rüdiger is venture partner at the Munich-based LSP Life Sciences Partners.
4SC announced the appointments on 13 June 2012.
