MediGene AG has announced that Dr Thomas Strüngmann, managing director of Santo Holding (Germany) GmbH, will resign from his position as a member of the supervisory board for personal reasons, effective 1 January 2009.
MediGene’s chairman, Ernst-Ludwig Winnacker said that Dr Strüngmann had contributed significantly to the refocusing of MediGene’s business strategy. In June, the German company said it would in future concentrate on the core disciplines of oncology and immunology and move out of dermatology.
