Mucosis BV of the Netherlands has announced the appointment of Thomas Johnston as chief executive, succeeding Govert Schouten who is leaving the company to found an internet start-up. Mr Johnston joined Mucosis as chief business officer in May 2011. Prior to this he was vice president of strategy at Novavax Inc in the US.
Mr Johnston holds a master’s of business administration (MBA) from the Wharton Business School and a Bachelor of Science in computer science from Arcadia University.
Mucosis announced the appointment on 17 September 2012.
