Sonia Quaratino has been appointed chair of the scientific and clinical advisory board of STipe Therapeutics ApS, a 2018 spinout of Aarhus University in Denmark which is targeting the innate immune system for cancer treatments. Dr Quaratino is currently chief medical officer at Kymab Ltd. Prior to this, she headed translational clinical oncology at Novartis.
She holds a medical degree and a doctorate in haematology-oncology from the University of Palermo, Italy and a PhD in immunology from Imperial College London.
STipe Therapeutics announced the appointment on 15 May 2020.
