Graham Hetherington has been appointed chief financial officer of Shire Ltd, the Channel Islands holding company for Shire Plc, the specialist pharmaceutical company.
He will fill the post being vacated by Angus Russell, who had been appointed chief executive officer.
Mr Hetherington was previously CFO of Bacardi and Allied Domecq Plc. His appointment will be effective on 1 July 2008.
