Shift Bioscience Ltd, a UK biotech, has appointed David Prior as chair of its board of directors, and Tony Kouzarides as scientific advisor, to oversee the company’s research into cell aging and rejuvenation. Mr Prior has held multiple senior positions in government, law and business including chairing NHS England, formally a commissioning body for the National Health Service. Dr Kouzarides is a professor at the University of Cambridge and co-founder of multiple biotech companies. His laboratory is exploring the role of epigenetic modifications in cancer.
