Shakti Narayan has been appointed chief executive officer and a member of the board of directors at Accent Therapeutics Inc which is developing oncology-focused small molecule drugs in the field of RNA modification.
Dr Narayan was most recently chief business officer at Tango Therapeutics Inc and prior to this, was head of transactions at Johnson & Johnson Innovation. He holds a PhD in cellular and molecular biology from the University of Wisconsin and has a bachelor degree in biology from Grinnell College, both in the US.
Accent Therapeutics announced the appointment on 3 September 2019.
