Setu Kasera, an experienced nanotechnology scientist, has been appointed chief scientific officer at leon-nanodrugs GmbH in Germany having previously been head of science and engineering. She succeeds Frank Stieneker who developed the company’s core technology for nano-encapsulation devices. Dr Kasera has expertise in nanotechnology from her R&D work at the University of Cambridge, UK. She has also held consulting roles with industry in the area of strategy and business development. Dr Kasera received an MPhil and a PhD in chemistry from the University of Cambridge.
