Sanofi SA has promoted its diabetes executive Stefan Oelrich to the position of vice president for the diabetes and cardiovascular business unit with a seat on the company’s executive committee. Since 2015 Mr Oelrich has played a leading role in developing the business unit. Prior to joining Sanofi he was an executive at Bayer AG. Mr Oelrich holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Business School of the Cologne Chamber of Commerce.
Sanofi announced the appointment on 2 October 2017.
