Intercell AG has appointed Reinhard Kandera as its new chief financial officer following the decision of the former CFO, Werner Lanthaler, to take up the position of chief executive officer of Evotec AG.
Mr Kandera is currently CFO of Intercell’s US subsidiary, formerly known as Iomai Corporation, which was acquired in 2008. He joined Intercell in 2001 and has held various positions in the finance group including global head of investor relations and head of finance and controlling.
Prior to joining Intercell, Mr Kandera worked for Deutsche Bank AG. He holds doctorate degrees in both law and finance.
