Pharmexa A/S has appointed Achim Kaufhold as its new chief executive officer. Dr Kaufhold succeeds Jakob Schmidt who will join the board of directors. Previously, Dr Kaufhold held a number of executive positions at GlaxoSmithKline, Bema Biotech and Chiron. Pharmexa is a development stage company in the field of active immunotherapy.
