Scenic Biotech BV of the Netherlands has announced the appointment of Oscar Izeboud as chief executive. Dr Izeboud joins the company from NIBC Bank NV where he led the corporate finance and capital markets team. Previously, he developed the life sciences and healthcare practice of the Dutch merchant bank Kempen & Co. Scenic Biotech focusses on the discovery of genetic modifiers for disease modifying therapeutics for rare genetic disorders. Dr Izeboud holds a PhD in immunopharmacology from the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands.
Scenic Biotech announced the appointment on 1 July 2020.
