Olof Tydén joins the board of BioXell

Italy’s BioXell SpA. has announced the appointment of Prof Olof Tydén to its board of directors.

Prof Tydén has had a long career in the pharmaceutical industry and in regulation having worked as senior regulatory advisor to F. Hoffmann-La Roche in Basel, Switzerland and as director of new drug licensing at the Medical Products Agency in Sweden. From 1989 to 1994, he served as chairman of the Academy Medical in Uppsala, Sweden. In 2000, he co-founded Eureda, a regulatory consultancy.

BioXell is a biopharmaceutical company that focuses on the discovery and development of drugs to treat urological, inflammatory and related disorders. The company was founded in 2002 as a spin-out from Roche.
