Elan Corporation Plc has appointed Patrick Kennedy and Donal O’Connor as non-executive directors of the company. Laurence Crowley has retired from the board of directors.
Mr Kennedy is the chief executive of Paddy Power plc, the Irish-based betting and gaming group. Mr O’Connor was a senior partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Ireland until 2007. He is currently a member of the firm’s global board.
Elan Corporation is a neuroscience-based biotechnology company listed on the New York, London and Dublin Stock Exchanges.
