Simris Group AB has appointed Andreas Pahl as chief executive officer of Simris Biologics GmbH, its wholly owned subsidiary in Berlin, Germany. Professor Pahl will lead the advancement of the Microcystin platform at the antibody-drug conjugate developer and help shape future development programmes. Simris Biologics develops based on differentiated payload technologies. Most recently, Prof Pahl was CEO of Heidelberg Pharma AG, having previously held the position of chief scientific officer. Previously he held senior positions at Nycomed and Takeda Pharmaceuticals, and earlier in his career had academic roles including at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany, where he was appointed professor of pharmacology and toxicology.
