Enedra Therapeutics Ltd, a preclinical biotech in Cambridge, UK, has appointed Adrian Ibrahim as chief executive officer. Dr Ibrahim was the founding CEO of Mosaic Therapeutics and has over 30 years’ experience in biotech and academia. He succeeds Andreas Ballis, Enedra’s co-founder and former CEO, who will become chief scientific officer. Enedra is preparing a seed funding round to advance its lead drug discovery programme through to in vivo proof-of-concept. Its platform technology is designed to target the underlying causes of cancer evolution and therapeutic resistance. The company already has backing from Cancer Research Horizons, Deep Science Ventures and KU Leuven’s Centre for Drug Design and Discovery.
