Mikaela Bruhammar, an experienced life sciences executive, has been appointed chief operating officer, markets, of BC Platforms AG, effective 12 September. Switzerland-based BC Platforms is a healthcare data management and analytics company which builds data networks for the life sciences industry and provides technology platforms for personalised medicine. Ms Bruhammar, who has served on BCP’s board since June 2021, will provide strategic leadership and oversight to BC Platforms' global sales and marketing operations.
She was previously an executive at IQVIA where she led Nordic and EMEA practices for real world data and evidence solutions. Other positions included senior management roles at MSD Sweden AB, AstraZeneca, and AstraZeneca's vaccine franchise. Ms Bruhammar holds a Master of Science in Molecular Biology from Linköping University, Sweden.
