Sense Biodetection Ltd, a UK based molecular diagnostics company, has appointed Michael Jones as chief financial officer ahead of the launch in Europe of a new test for Covid-19. Mr Jones joins from Cytek Biosciences Inc where, as vice president of finance, he led the company through an IPO on Nasdaq in 2021. Prior to that, he was head of financial planning and analysis at Varian Medical Systems, now part of Siemens Healthineers AG.
Mr Jones holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Louisiana and a degree in accounting from Tulane University, both in the US.
