Jorge Santos da Silva, a former senior partner at McKinsey and Company Inc, has been appointed chief executive of MoonLake Immunotherapeutics AG, a Swiss company developing products for inflammatory skin and joint diseases. Concurrently, Matthias Bodenstedt, previously a McKinsey partner, has become chief financial officer. Dr Santos da Silva holds a PhD in neuroscience and has broad scientific experience in molecular, cellular and neuro-biology.
Mr Bodenstedt has advised multiple biopharmaceutical companies on financing and commercial strategy. He holds a master of business administration degree from Columbia Business School in New York City, US.
