The board of SwedenBIO has appointed Mats Berggren to be chief executive officer, succeeding Per-Erik Sandlund who has held this position since 2005. Mr Berggren will take up his new position on 1 June 2008. He is currently vice president of the industry association.
SwedenBIO represents more than 170 companies in the biotechnology, medical technology and pharmaceutical development industries in Sweden.
