Maria Dzaleta, former head of European Business Development at GlaxoSmithKline, is joining Neuropharm Group Plc as Vice President of Business Development. Ms Dzaleta, who has more than 20 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, will help Neuropharm, which develops medicines for neuro-developmental disorders, establish more collaborations.
Neuropharm has four programmes in clinical development. It plans to establish a specialised sales and marketing team in the US ahead of the expected launch of NPL-2008, its product for the treatment of the symptoms of autism.
