The London-based drug development company, Lipoxen Plc, announced on 6 October 2008 the appointment of Igor Nikolaev to the company board with immediate effect. Mr Nikolaev replaces Tatiana Zhuravskaya, who is stepping down from her role as a non-executive director. Dr Zhuravskaya will remain with Lipoxen as a project management consultant. Previously, Mr Nikolaev was deputy director of the Russian branch of the international law firm Clyde and Co. His areas of practice are corporate and commercial law, litigation and privatisation.
