Joanna Horobin has joined the board of the biopharmaceutical company iOnctura SA as non-executive chair. Dr Horobin has over 35 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, specialising in the development of cancer drugs. Before joining iOnctura, she held a number of senior positions, most recently as chief medical officer at Idera Pharmaceuticals Inc. Dr Horobin gained her medical qualifications at the University of Manchester Medical School in the UK. iOnctura SA was founded in 2017 as a spin out from Merck KGaA and develops therapies for cancer.
