Immunic Inc has appointed Elena Ridloff, a seasoned biotech builder and advisor, to its board of directors as the company advances towards some key milestones. Ms Ridloff has 20 years of leadership experience and is currently chief financial officer at Sionna Therapeutics. Previously she was CFO of ACADIA Pharmaceuticals, where she played a key role in the company’s commercial and business growth, and raised $600 million in capital.
Earlier in her career, she established and led investor relations at Alexion Pharmaceuticals and was chief executive officer of BIOVISIO, a consultancy firm serving the life sciences industry. Immunic’s lead development programme, vidofludimus calcium (IMU-838), is being evaluated in Phase 3 clinical trials for the treatment of relapsing multiple sclerosis, with top-line data expected by the end of 2026.
Immunic announced the appointment on 10 August 2026.
