Gustavo Pesquin, a former executive at Sanofi SA, has joined Asklepios BioPharmaceutical Inc (AskBio) as chief executive to oversee the company’s clinical gene therapy programmes and manufacturing activities. Most recently, he was chief commercial officer at Amneal Pharmaceutics Inc in the US. At Sanofi, he was North American head of general medicines as well as global head of the diabetes and cardiovascular franchise. He holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, US and a bachelor’s degree from Universidad National de Cuyo in Argentina.
