GlaxoSmithKline Plc has appointed Judy Lewent and Stacey Cartwright as non-executive directors, effective 1 April 2011 when they will also join the company’s audit and risk committee.
Ms Lewent was previously executive vice president and chief financial officer of Merck & Co Inc and currently is a trustee and head of the audit committee of the Rockefeller Family Trust.
Ms Cartwright is executive vice president and chief financial officer of the Burberry Group Plc.
