Forbion, the venture capital group, has promoted Mathias Vinther to Partner in its growth fund. He joined Forbion in March 2022 as principal, and has led due diligence on opportunities across Europe and the US, supported portfolio companies such as Navigator, Vectiv Bio and Capstan on business and regulatory strategy, and contributed to several exits and IPOs. As partner, Dr Vinther will play an expanded role in shaping the growth fund’s strategy. He holds a PhD in nanomedicine from Aarhus University, Denmark where his research focused on immunotherapy and drug delivery.
