Evox Therapeutics Ltd has made two senior appointments. Sonya Montgomery will take up the new role of chief medical officer, and Martin Andrews has been appointed a non-executive director. Evox is based in Oxford, UK, and is focused on the emerging area of exosome therapy. Dr Montgomery has nearly 25 years of experience in the life sciences sector with expertise in rare diseases. She joins Evox from Gyroscope Therapeutics Ltd, where she was head of clinical development, and played a key role in the company's Series B financing. Mr Andrews also has a rare diseases background, joining Evox from GlaxoSmithKline Plc, where he oversaw the development of ex vivo gene therapies.
