Evotec SE has made two senior appointments, naming Ingrid Müller as chief operating officer and Ashiq H. Khan as chief commercial officer. Dr Müller will oversee Evotec’s global operations including strengthening cross-functional execution. Her more than 20 years’ experience in life sciences includes operations, strategy, supply, procurement and R&D integration. Most recently Dr Müller was vice president portfolio strategy & execution at CureVac. With a PhD in chemistry from Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany, she will join Evotec’s management board on 1 May.
Dr Khan will lead the expansion of Evotec’s global commercial organisation and deepen industry partnerships. He was most recently chief business officer at Iktos. Dr Khan has a track record of managing transcontinental teams and closing collaboration agreements. He holds a PhD in neurobiology from the University of Cologne, Germany and business degrees from the Wharton Business School, US and INSEAD, France.
