Carsten Däweritz has been named chief financial officer, effective 16 April, at the Swiss biotech company Evolva SA which develops and commercialises synthetic biopharmaceutical products. Mr Däweritz joins from the contract manufacturer Lonza where, most recently, he managed the group’s consumer health and nutrition businesses. He holds a bachelor degree in mathematics and has a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Münster in Germany.
Evolva announced the appointment on 24 March 2021.
