Biotech company Enhanced Genomics Ltd has appointed Katerina Leftheris to its board of directors. She brings extensive experience, particularly in medicinal chemistry and drug discovery programmes, and held senior scientific positions at Bristol Myers Squibb, Celgene and Pliant Therapeutics. Her appointment is part of Enhanced Genomics’ strategy to expand its pipeline for drug targets identified using its 3D multi-omics platform. Dr Leftheris is on the boards of several biotech companies and is a visiting professor of chemistry at Stony Brook University, US. She holds a PhD in organic chemistry from UC San Diego.
