Cytos Biotechnology Ltd has announced the nomination of Christian Itin, the former chief executive of Micromet Inc, to the position of non-executive director on its board of directors. Dr Itin was appointed Micromet CEO in 2004. The company was acquired by Amgen Inc in March 2012. Prior to joining Micromet, Dr Itin led Zyomyx Inc of the US.
Dr Itin holds a diploma in biology and a PhD in cell biology from the University of Basel in Switzerland.
