Belgium-based Celyad SA has appointed Filippo Petti as chief financial officer, effective 3 September, succeeding Patrick Jeanmart who is stepping down from the position. Mr Petti joins Celyad from previous jobs in healthcare investment banking, first at William Blair & Company, and then at Wells Fargo Securities. Prior to this, he worked in equity research at both William Blair and at Wedbush Securities.
Mr Petti holds a master of business administration degree from Cornell University and a master of science degree from St John’s University, both in the US. At Celyad, he will help oversee the company’s expansion in the US where the company listed its shares in 2015.
Celyad announced the appointment on 7 August 2018.
