Anne Lane has been appointed managing director of UCL Business Plc (UCLB), the technology transfer arm of University College London (UCL). Dr Lane, who holds a PhD in medicine from UCL, joined the group in 2000. In more than a decade, she has helped launch several new companies including the gene therapy developers Orchard Therapeutics and Autolus Therapeutics. Prior to joining UCLB, Dr Lane worked for RTP Pharma Inc in Montreal, Canada. She has also been a consultant for the National Technology Transfer Center in the US.
UCLB announced the appointment on 19 February 2019.
