Adcendo ApS made two changes to its board and appointed a new chief financial officer as the Denmark-based antibody conjugates company established operations in the US. Adcendo named Laura Shawver as chair of the board, succeeding John Haurum, and Roy Baynes as a non-executive director, and appointed Fang Z Ni as chief financial officer. Adcendo has established Adcendo US Inc, and plans to open an office in Boston to support its goal to become a leading international ADC company and advance clinical trials globally. The new chair brings over two decades’ experience in cancer research, drug development and patient advocacy. In 2006, she founded The Clearity Foundation to help revolutionise ovarian cancer treatment and is currently president and chief executive officer of Capstan Therapeutics. The new CFO joins Adcendo from Black Diamond Therapeutics where he was chief business and financial officer.
