Versameb AG of Switzerland has appointed urology specialist Roger Dmochowski as chief medical officer as it advances its platform for RNA-based drugs that modulate protein expression. Dr Dmochowski is professor of urology and surgery at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center, US. He will help guide development of Versameb’s lead product for stress urinary incontinence. Dr Dmochowski is a past member of the US Food and Drug Administration’s Bone, Reproductive and Urologic Drugs Committee and was involved in guidelines for regenerative medicine in urology.
Versameb announced the appointment on 21 June 2023.
