Laverock Therapeutics Ltd, a gene-silencing company, has appointed Ali Elsley as finance director. She joins the company from Acacia Pharma Group Plc, where she was financial controller and company secretary. Ms Elsley brings experience in finance at early-stage biotech and pharma companies through her work for 10 years as an auditor with PwC LLP in Cambridge, UK. She is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds a degree in archaeology and anthropology from the University of Cambridge, UK.
