Ulrik Cordes, previously a marketing executive at Thermo Fisher Scientific, has been appointed chief commercial officer at Biocartis NV, a Belgium-based molecular diagnostics company. Prior to working at Thermo Fisher Scientific, he was an executive at Dako A/S, a producer of cancer diagnostics. Mr Cordes received a master of science degree in biochemistry from the University of Copenhagen and a bachelor of commerce from the Copenhagen Business School.
Biocartis announced the appointment on 4 September 2013.
