Samantha Macro, an experienced financial executive, has joined CN Bio as chief financial officer to guide the organ-on-a-chip company’s global expansion. Dr Macro was most recently head of finance at Mestag Therapeutics Ltd, a UK immunotherapy company, where she led a $45 million seed funding round. Prior to this, she was global head of finance at Horizon Discovery Group Plc. Dr Macro qualified as a chartered accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers and holds both MBA and PhD degrees from the Loughborough University Business School, UK.
