Peter Allen, chairman of Clinigen Plc and three other UK companies, has joined the board of Scancell Holdings Plc as a non-executive director. A chartered accountant by profession, he has helped orchestrate fundraisings, restructurings, acquisitions and initial public offerings for many companies. Most recently he was chairman at Proximagen Group Plc when that company was acquired by Upsher-Smith Laboratories in 2012.
Scancell, which is developing therapeutic vaccines for cancer, announced the appointment on 9 April 2013.
