Eli Lilly and Company has announced the appointment of Melissa Barnes, currently deputy general counsel, as chief ethics and compliance officer and senior vice president of enterprise risk management, effective 1 January 2013. She will replace Anne Nobles who is retiring.
In her new role, Ms Barnes will report to John Lechleiter, Lilly’s chairman, president and chief executive, and will serve on the company’s executive committee.
Lilly announced the appointment on 30 October 2012.
