Marc Dunoyer to join AstraZeneca from GSK

Marc Dunoyer, formerly global head of rare diseases at GlaxoSmithKline Plc, will join AstraZeneca Plc to fill the newly created position of executive vice president, global portfolio & product strategy. In this position he will report to Pascal Soriot, the chief executive, and will be a member of the company’s senior executive team. At GSK, Mr Dunoyer had been chairman of GSK Japan and a member of the corporate executive team. He holds an MBA from the Hautes Etudes Commerciales in Paris and has a Bachelor of Law degree from Paris University. He will join AstraZeneca in the second quarter of 2013.

AstraZeneca announced the appointment on 21 March 2013.
