Poxel SA of France has appointed Khoso Baluch, a senior vice president at UCB SA, to its board as an independent director. Poxel is working on treatments for Type 2 diabetes. Prior to joining UCB, Mr Baluch worked in general management and business development at Eli Lilly and Company for 24 years, a period during which he was also vice president of the company’s US diabetes and family health business unit.
Poxel announced the appointment on 21 March 2013.
