Circassia Ltd of the UK has appointed Jean-Jacques Garaud, a pharmaceutical industry veteran, to its board of directors. Dr Garaud was until recently the global head of pharma research and early development at F Hoffmann-La Roche. Circassia is a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on allergy. It announced the appointment on 6 December 2012.
