Jazz Pharmaceuticals Plc has appointed Philip Johnson as chief financial officer, succeeding Renée Galá who was appointed chief operating officer in October 2023. Mr Johnson brings over 35 years’ experience in finance, notably at Eli Lilly and Co where he worked in senior finance positions for almost 30 years, most recently as group vice president of finance where he led the company’s treasury and investor relations.
At Jazz, he will oversee finance activities, treasury, information services, investor relations and corporate development. Mr Johnson holds a bachelor of science in finance from the University of Illinois and a master of management from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, both US.
Jazz announced the appointment on 21 February 2024.
